Service & Social Impact

Our first sphere of influence is self; the second is our immediate family.  The third is our community.

As Rising Tide Leaders, we believe that our gifts and talents are given to us in a stewardship trust.  We are given them to fulfill a unique individual calling to serve.  We strengthen ourselves and each other so that we can magnify the positive impact we have on the world.

To this end, each local chapter will adopt a service project to which members will contribute.  This may be as simple as reading to children at the library, or as elaborate as the members have the time, resources and motivation to commit.  This service project is a team effort, because the power of cooperation is exponential.

Each member is encouraged also to earn Gold Star awards for service.  The hours committed to the chapter service project will count, as well as hours devoted to individual service pursuits.  The fun part is—there is no limit to the number of Gold Stars one can earn in the Service category.  Service, like self-development, is a life-long pursuit.
